iPhone cases, sleeves and skins

I've had my iPhone for about a month and quickly figured out that I did not like the original Black Premium Leather Sleeve I purchased at the AT&T store.  The leather sleeve has a very good feel and is made of great material, makes the iPhone too bulky for my liking.  I think that in general anything that is thicker than a thin skin is going to add too much to the thickness.  I was worried about scratching and have had no issues.  So far I've only used a think screen protector that came with the leather sleeve.  I am looking into the use of skins to give my iPhone it's own unique look and to prevent from minor wear and tear.
